This is me, hitchhiking in Tajikistan, with some interested kids around me.

The children in Tajikistan are cool. They all wave happily and give high fives when you pass by in a car.
These kids were checking out what I was doing. They whispered to each other about me, they probably had no idea what I was doing.
I waited here for about 40 minutes when the first car came and luckily gave me a lift.
In the background, on the other side of the river, it’s Afghanistan.
This was the first day after 3 days with the Mongol Rally cars. I decided to take the most southern road further along the Afghanistan border (Wakhan valley).
This road is even more remote, but beautiful as well! I heard stories of other hitchhikers who waited here for 8 hours.
So I was a bit nervous. But prepared for the worst. To be continued…
