Ashgabat; One of the weirdest cities I’ve ever been

It’s super clean, buildings are big, white and made with marble, streets are empty, everywhere there are camera’s and there’s a lot of police.

Mainly you’ll find two type of persons at the street: cleaners and police men. Local citizens are in minority by far.

Taking photos of all those impressive buildings is not allowed. For example the one in the background may not be photographed.

Every time a policeman will come to you to warn you.This is the capital of Turkmenistan: Ashgabad.
